House renters guide, rules, and regulations in texas?

Can someone give me a website with all the rules, regulaitons and laws that a lnadlord and renter must fallow for the state of texas when renting a house.

First off read your lease. Not all leases are alike. The best/safest ones are thru TAA (yes they do houses as well as Apartments-but rules only apply if you used this form of a lease).

You would need to be more sepcific about your "issue" but most of your answers are in your lease. If you do not understand it, talk to your landlord so they can explain.
